Most Cold Stone stores are owned and operated by independent franchisee operators. These franchisees, who want to be in business for themselves but not by themselves, are independent employers which means they exclusively: (i) recruit, hire, train, and manage their own employees, (ii) set their own employment policies and procedures, and (iii) handle all matters of employment at their store. Franchisor does not control employment matters and does not employ those working at franchised restaurants.
You can apply for a job at a local store by following these steps:
- Visit the Store Locator page.
- Choose the state in which you’re seeking employment.
- Choose the city in which you’re seeking employment.
- Complete the online application form or click the Submit a Resume option to copy and paste your resume into the fields provided.
The online application will be automatically e-mailed to your potential employer – i.e. the franchisee of the local Cold Stone Creamery location you chose. You may also be able to apply in person if you see something like a ‘Now Auditioning’ sign in the front window of the store.

- Follow the steps provided by Monster.com to register for an account and complete the application process. Once you have submitted your application, you will be contacted by a member of Cold Stone Creamery's Human Resources Department.
The ‘Entertainment Factor’ is meant to create a fun, festive atmosphere in Cold Stone Creamery stores and to set us apart from the competition. Crew members usually perform in stores, and ‘auditions’ may take place in addition to the interview process. That way, it’s known that entertaining is a brand standard. In fact, many Cold Stone Creamery crew members enjoy the singing so much they create their own songs!
